If you would like to add your opinion to your poll answer, or you feel none of the options apply to you, then submit comments to this post.
Poll now closed. Result:

Result of previous poll
Ahead of the Police and Crime Commissioner election in November, the previous poll was created to gauge what type of crime most people are concerned with in Pembrokeshire. Antisocial behaviour tops the poll by quite a way, with illegal substances a distant second.
Since the election of Christopher Salmon to the post, he has made a few decisions. There’s quite a handy section on the website for the Dyfed-Powys Police & Crime Commissioner (found here) where those with an interest can research the decisions. Being such a pedant, I’m finding it difficult to dismiss the erroneous apostrophe in the title of the decision made on 23rd November.
Decisions so far include to “impose a freeze on recruitment of all police staff” (not including Police Constables or PCSOs) taken on 7th December with immediate effect, and: “To sign-up to the Welsh Government’s National Procurement Service,” taken 13th December.

How can he continue in his role knowing that new ‘mandate’ he received in winning the vote was based upon them being misinformed or not knowing the full details? It stinks!
Looking at the link to the P&CC’s decisions, it is ironic that he has failed to approve, not approve or even note the recommendation according to the summary sheet. Poor in the extreme considering that this relates to governance arrangements. Lord preserve us from (some) elected representatives…
